About

As an Assistant Professor of History of Art and Design at UDIT and a PhD scholar under the guidance of Prof. Aparajita De at the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, my research explores the intersections of art, cities and urban design theory. I examine urban surfaces as palimpsests of layered histories, structures, and lived narratives, drawing on embodiment and ethnography to understand how public art in the Global South; particularly India shapes identity, politics, and collective aspirations.

My work extensively looks at Public Art, Streets, Graffiti in India, Murals (Commissioned) and other forms of creative interventions in the city for creation of a cultural capital.
